A non-stop North to South journey of Wales by foot, bike & kayak via the 10 highest mountains en route

My journey began in Conwy at 04:00 on Friday, September 18 and I arrived in Cardiff Bay at 17:00 on Sunday 20.

The Journey

I'm really delighted that even though this began as a solo mission, I was actually joined along the way by lots of different people.

​

My mother for one didn't hesitate to sign up for the kayaking leg. She's 72 but willing to give anything a go!

 

 Ultra runner, Chris Near, led the way for the Snowdonia section and  Fi Wilson, a very talented mountain biker joined in for the first 24 hours and really help me get through some very tough times.

 

Best of all was when my two daughters, 3 and 5 years old joind me for the last 5k into Cardiff Bay.
